The Caesarstone benchtop was mitred to 40mm to keep it proportional with the open kitchen space. We considered proportions in the height of the island too, making it taller than standard to create a more convenient prep space. The grain running through Bianco Drift immediately caught our clients’ eye, and cabinetry colour simply had to be shades of cream and grey with texture for interest. The strip handles were powder-coated in a custom colour to disappear into the kitchen cabinetry. The butler’s pantry is an entertainer’s dream – with a large wine rack, bottle dividers and ample storage.
